Top UAE Airline Etihad Airways Launches Flights to Tbilisi
According to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA), leading UAE airline Etihad Airways will launch direct flights on the Abu Dhabi — Tbilisi — Abu Dhabi route starting March 1, 2026.
Flights will operate 14 times a week, and the permitting procedures will begin even before the winter navigation season of 2025−2026.
Last year, over 647,000 passengers were transported between Georgia and the UAE, which accounts for 59% of the total traffic between Georgia and the Persian Gulf countries.
Etihad Airways was founded in 2003, with its hub at Abu Dhabi (Zayed) International Airport. In 2023, the airline’s revenue was $ 6.4 billion, and its profit was $ 476 million.
