Fitch upgrades Georgia’s outlook
The international rating agency Fitch has revised its expectations for Georgia: the country’s rating remains at BB, but the outlook has been upgraded from "negative" to "stable."
The main reasons are the significant growth of foreign currency reserves, as well as strong performance in tourism and remittances. These factors strengthen the country’s financial buffer and reduce risks.
Fitch expects Georgia’s economy to grow faster than previously forecast:
+7.3% in 2025
+5.3% in 2026
+5% in 2027
In short — international analysts have become more confident in Georgia’s economic prospects.
This is a positive signal for investors, businesses, and the real estate market.
